Reconstruction requires more than new materials. It also requires the ability to recover valuable raw materials.
On 12–13 November, NOVITERA will take part in the international exhibition ReBuild Ukraine: Construction & Energy 2026 in Warsaw together with the Lithuanian business delegation. Seven Lithuanian companies will showcase their expertise at the Lithuanian Pavilion, presenting solutions relevant to the reconstruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure and industry and to its long-term economic resilience.
Ukraine’s reconstruction is not only about new buildings, energy infrastructure and technologies. It also means restoring industrial capacity, managing large material flows, meeting growing demand for raw materials and building more resilient supply chains.
This makes it increasingly important to use existing resources more efficiently and recover valuable raw materials from recyclable materials.
Metal recovery – part of the reconstruction process
For nearly 25 years, NOVITERA has specialised in metal recycling and recovery. The company processes industrial waste, electronic components, metal scrap and other complex metal-bearing materials, recovering precious, non-ferrous and strategic metals.
Rebuilding war-damaged infrastructure and industry also involves significant flows of materials and decommissioned equipment. By properly identifying and recycling metal-bearing materials, valuable raw materials can be recovered and returned to the economic cycle.
NOVITERA’s expertise covers the entire process: material preparation, laboratory analysis using XRF and ICP-OES methods, recycling, metal recovery and precious metal refining.
The company works with more than 30 metals and alloys, including Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, Cu, Ni, W, Mo, Co and Ta, as well as other metals important to industry.
From energy to the defence industry
Metal recovery expertise is becoming increasingly important in sectors that rely on high-value, technological and strategic metals, including energy, electronics, industrial manufacturing, aerospace and defence. Valuable metals can remain in production residues, end-of-life components and other materials.
NOVITERA therefore sees ReBuild Ukraine not only as an opportunity to present its expertise, but also as a platform for building new industrial and technological partnerships.
At the exhibition, NOVITERA aims to discuss how metal analysis, recycling and recovery can contribute to more efficient resource use, industrial recovery and more resilient supply chains.
