Our goal is to efficiently recover valuable metals from a wide range of scrap and industrial waste, which means we can buy products and their scrap containing over 30 different metals.

The price of the catalyst depends on the quantity and type of precious metals it contains, as well as the price paid for them on international metal exchanges. We ensure fair pricing by conducting all the necessary assaying in our own or an independent laboratory. We offer our customers the opportunity to visit us and observe how the material is prepared and how samples are taken for accurate compositional analysis. The value of the identified metals is calculated according to the prices of the official exchanges (Pd, Pt, Au, Ag – LBMA AM/PM Fix, Rh – JOHNSON MATTHEY).
To determine the exact value of a catalytic converter, please provide the converter’s serial number. Using this number, we estimate the precious metal content based on either manufacturer data or laboratory research results.
Please note that during use, some metals may burn off, so the precise value can only be determined through laboratory analysis.
Spectral analysis using the VANTA XRF portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer can be carried out at the customer’s site or after delivery of the material to our central warehouses. We use the data from such analyses when purchasing small quantities of catalysts or when calculating a deposit for the supplied material.
Chemical analysis determines the composition of the material and the exact amount of precious metals. We use this method when a batch of supplied material exceeds 70 kg.
The catalyst tank does not change the price. There is no extra charge for us to cut the catalyst tanks.

The vehicle make and model alone are not sufficient to determine the value of a catalytic converter. We therefore always ask for the catalytic converter serial number, as converters manufactured for the same vehicle model at different times may contain different amounts of precious metals.
