NOVITERA participated in Europe’s leading space industry gathering — Space Tech Expo Europe ‘25
On November 18–20, Space Tech Expo Europe, held in Bremen, brought together more than 10,000 attendees and 900 exhibitors from 40 countries. As Europe’s largest and most influential B2B space technology event, the expo has been shaping the continent’s space industry landscape for a decade—uniting component manufacturers, engineering companies, testing and manufacturing service providers, satellite system integrators, startups, and the research community.
For the second consecutive year, NOVITERA joined the Lithuanian national delegation at the invitation of the Innovation Agency Lithuania, representing the country at this strategic event alongside leading European space-sector companies.

Discussions on giving metals used in the space sector a second life
NOVITERA representative Kęstutis Žiaukas actively engaged in discussions on the recovery and recycling of metals used in the space industry, including materials found in orbital debris. This topic is gaining critical importance across the European market because it:
- helps optimize manufacturing costs,
- reduces the consumption of natural resources,
- supports the development of a sustainable and resilient space industry,
- enables the creation of a closed-loop metal lifecycle for future space missions.
Throughout the expo, these issues were explored with industry leaders, scientists, legal experts, and space policy specialists. Metal recovery and recycling are expected to become indispensable elements of the space industry value chain, and NOVITERA’s contribution is already significant—shaping new perspectives on space infrastructure longevity and sustainable material flow management.
