This week precious metals look quite good – many of the prices have risen slightly. The value of several metals has decreased slightly, but the number is not significant. Currently, metals are mostly influenced by two economic factors: the US dollar growth and global inflation (sources: Cnbc.com, Finance.yahoo.com). As these factors have been around for some time and the values of precious metals are quite good, it can be expected that the situation may improve even more in the near future.
The price of yellow metal rose to $ 1404.91 an ounce. Interestingly, gold this week has not been greatly influenced by the growing US dollar. In China and India, the demand for this metal is falling, especially in the jewellery industry (sources: Etfdailynews.com, Scrapregister.com). And despite these factors, gold retains a strong position. It can be because of long-lasting trust in gold that investors do not forget. However, it is interesting to observe how the price of gold will change in the coming weeks.

The price of silver jumped to $ 15.55 an ounce. It's a sudden jump in value compared to the past few weeks. Source Insidefutures.com says, that white metal has now reached one of its highest values in the last four months. Experts from Kitco.com believe that investors are beginning to notice the positive developments in silver and this time is particularly favourable for the white metal.

The price of palladium fell to $ 1527 an ounce, while platinum’s has risen - the metal is currently costing $ 838 an ounce. While palladium remains a great investment in recent weeks, experts are currently focusing on platinum (source: Kitco.com). Source Dailyfx.com says, that platinum has reached now one of the highest price points in the past two months. Investors should not forget the fact that the need for this metal is constantly growing (source: Herald.co.zw). Experts at Insidefutures.com believe, that currently it is best to invest in platinum and silver. It is interesting to observe if platinum will be one of the top investments in the near future.

At the end of the week, the price of copper has fallen to $ 5,934.84 a tonne. In recent months, the value of copper has always slightly changed, so investors should not worry. Its demand remains the same; millions of US dollars are being invested in the mines in Peru and Chile (source: Mining.com).
