NOVITERA among Lithuanian and Norwegian Space Innovators<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 22, during Oslo Innovation Week, we participated in the Lithuania\u2013Norway Space Industry Forum \u201cAdvancing Space Innovation through Cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was organized by the Embassy of Lithuania in Norway, together with the Lithuanian Professionals Club in Oslo (LPO), the Innovation Agency\u2019s Space HUB LT, and the Norwegian Industrial Forum for Space Activities (NIFRO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The forum brought together leaders from the space, science, and business communities of both countries \u2014 all united by a shared goal to strengthen partnerships, exchange experience, and explore new opportunities for innovation and collaboration. Discussions focused on national space programs, emerging technology trends, the sector\u2019s challenges, and the role of small ecosystems in enhancing Europe\u2019s innovation potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our team was represented by Lina Baibokien\u0117, who has been directly collaborating with the Lithuanian Space Agency and Space HUB LT for more than a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cWe believe that only international cooperation can ensure a sustainable space future. The partnership with the Norwegian space community is another important step in that direction,\u201d says Lina.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The following day, together with the Lithuanian delegation, we visited the Norwegian Space Agency, where we met representatives from Space Norway, S&T, and Kratos Defence. These meetings provided an excellent opportunity to discuss practical areas of cooperation and potential joint projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For us, participating in international events is more than just a formality \u2014 it\u2019s a chance to connect, learn, and transform ideas into tangible results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through our work in space debris management and recycling technologies, we aim to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable space environment. We believe that Lithuania\u2019s expertise in this field can play a meaningful role in shaping a responsible and forward-looking space future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
